If you prefer to read so that you can instantly skim and get to the juicy bits faster, this is designed for you.

These blog posts include communication know how bytes that you can put into action immediately. I want you to be able to hit the ground running. Each blog post is designed as a HOW TO GUIDE for a specific communication challenge in your career.

At the top of each blog post, there will be an audio file for listening practice and there will also be some ‘Business English’ tips and tricks at the bottom of the blog post, so feel free to scroll down for some vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar.

There will be a mix of British English and German blog posts. If you hear any German audio, it will be thanks to my son, Finn who luckily has been raised bilingually and is my much appreciated media technology guru.

Prepositions are difficult in every language – soooo annoying, right? These small words are very easy to overlook. Use it three times that hour, day and week.

Why not create your own sentences, by starting with the ‘original’ sentence from above then replacing a word in each.

If you read that and think that there’s no way you will find the time or inspiration to do that, perhaps we should work together to prioritize your English and work on securing a career that is really rewarding.
