Welcome to English Speaking Experts. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") govern your access to and use of our services, including our six-week Business English Refresher & VoiceVantage programmes.

By enrolling in or accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

"Service" refers to the Business English Refresher programme, VoiceVantage and all related training, coaching & consultancy services provided by English Speaking Experts.

"Participant" or "You" refers to the individual enrolling in or using the Service.

"We", "Us", or "Our" refers to English Speaking Experts.

"Programme" refers to the six-week Business English Refresher course.

2. Service Description

English Speaking Experts provides corporate communication training designed to enhance communication skills for professional leaders. Our six-week Business English Refresher programme, takes place via WhatsApp, our VoiceVantage programme takes place via Voxer includes:

  • Clear Pronunciation, Intonation and Voice training
  • Communication theory, practice and feedback
  • Personal coaching
  • Personal branding advice

Programme content, schedule, and delivery methods are subject to change at our discretion to ensure the highest quality training experience for you or your employee.

3. Enrollment and Eligibility

3.1 Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

3.2 Enrollment Process

Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment and written confirmation from English Speaking Experts. We reserve the right to refuse enrollment at our discretion. We also have a zero tolerance policy on discrimination or abuse, in which case we reserve the right to exclude participants that make the staff or fellow participants feel uncomfortable. 

3.3 Waiting List

If a programme is fully booked, participants may join a waiting list. Placement on the waiting list does not guarantee enrollment in the next available programme.

4. Fees and Payment

4.1 Programme Fees

Programme fees will be communicated during the enrollment process. All fees are in British pounds sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Payment Terms

Full payment is due upon enrollment unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed in writing. We accept the following payment methods: bank transfer or Visa via Pensight.

4.3 Late Payment

Late payments may result in suspension of access to programme materials and sessions until payment is received.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify programme fees at any time. Price changes will not affect participants who have already enrolled and paid. We will always communicate price increases in advance.


5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation by Participant

  • More than 14 days before programme start: Full refund minus administrative fee of 10%
  • 7-14 days before programme start: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before programme start: No refund
  • After programme commencement: No refund for any reason

5.2 Cancellation by English Speaking Experts

We reserve the right to cancel any programme due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another programme.

5.3 No-Show Policy

Failure to attend scheduled sessions without prior notice will not entitle the participant to a refund or make-up sessions.


6. Participant Responsibilities

6.1 Attendance and Participation

Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and actively participate in programme activities. While we understand that conflicts may arise, consistent attendance is crucial for achieving programme objectives.

We welcome feedback at any time, so please use this opportunity to share how we can make attendance and participation easier, we are flexible.

6.2 Technical Requirements

For online sessions, participants are responsible for ensuring they have:

  • Reliable internet connection
  • Appropriate hardware (computer, webcam, microphone)
  • Required software applications

We are not responsible for technical difficulties on the participant's end.
Podcast guests not technically prepared with a microphone will need to reschedule their interview.

Webcams should be switched on with your face visible unless you have communicated and gained clearance not to switch on or use your camera in advance. 

6.3 Professional Conduct

Participants must maintain professional and respectful behavior towards instructors and fellow participants. We reserve the right to remove any participant who engages in disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate conduct without refund.


7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Ownership

All course materials, content, and intellectual property provided through the Service remain the exclusive property of English Speaking Experts. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Training materials and handouts
  • Presentations and videos
  • Proprietary methodologies and models
  • Assessment tools

7.2 Limited License

B2C Participants are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use programme materials solely for personal, non-commercial purposes during and after the programme duration.

B2B Participants can negotiate transferable licenses.

7.3 Restrictions

Participants may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or sell programme materials
  • Record sessions without prior written consent
  • Share access credentials or materials with non-participants
  • Use materials to develop competing services
  • Use materials to create social media content

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

8.1 Data Collection

We collect and process personal information necessary to provide our services, including name, contact information, professional background, and programme participation data. We NEVER sell this information and only use telephone numbers for learning specific purposes.

8.2 Data Usage

Your data will be used to:

  • Deliver the programme and communicate with you
  • Assess your progress and provide feedback
  • Improve our services
  • Send relevant updates and information (with your consent)

8.3 Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for complete information.


9. Confidentiality

Information shared during programme sessions, including personal experiences and business discussions, should be treated as confidential by all participants. We encourage a safe learning environment built on trust, discretion and support.


10. Results and Guarantees

No Guarantee of Results: While we are committed to providing high-quality training, individual results may vary. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, career advancement, or business success as a result of programme participation.

Success depends on multiple factors including individual effort, practice, and application of learned skills. Participants are responsible for implementing and practicing the techniques taught.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • English Speaking Experts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
  • Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the programme
  • We are not liable for any losses resulting from technical difficulties, internet connectivity issues, or force majeure events

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless English Speaking Experts, its instructors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your misuse of programme materials
  • Any breach of intellectual property rights

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government restrictions, or technical failures.

In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule sessions or provide alternative delivery methods.


14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Material changes affecting current participants will be communicated via email.


15. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify participants of significant changes that affect programme delivery.


16. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party platforms or services to deliver programme content (e.g., video conferencing, learning management systems, teaching tools). Your use of such services may be subject to their own terms and conditions.


17. Testimonials and Marketing

With your consent, we may use your testimonials, success stories, or programme feedback for marketing purposes. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us in writing.

We will not use your name, photo/video or identifying information in marketing materials without your explicit permission.


18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.


19. Dispute Resolution

19.1 Informal Resolution

In the event of any dispute, participants agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us directly.

19.2 Mediation

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.


20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.


21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and English Speaking Experts regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.


22. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
