Talk your way into an international career without the bullshit!
1. Replace tactical thinking with strategic thinking.
2. Pay attention to your tone of voice.
3. Think about the words, terms and abbreviations that you are using.
4. Provide examples based on your experience and knowledge in a way that adds value to the conversation.
5. Listen actively to podcasts, particularly interviews that give you insights into leadership conversations.
6. Prepare for meetings by anticipating topics and the language that you need to make your point clearly and dynamically.
7. Be assertive and concise for more impact.

At Toastmasters we learn to observe each other very closely so that we can give feedback in a respectful and supportive manner, we learn a lot that way and you can do that too.
In your next meeting have a space where you make your notes to mark not just what was said but how they said it.
Find yourself some role models of professionals in your organisation that have a big impact on people in a way that appeals to you and watch closely.
Which words do they use?
What are they doing with their hands?
Do they use their space? (online you can use the whole screen too)
